GERMANTOWN, TN – The Kustoff for Congress campaign announced today that five District Attorneys General and two Sheriffs, throughout the 8th Congressional District, have endorsed David Kustoff.

“I’m humbled to receive the endorsements of so many law-enforcement officials throughout the 8th District,” said Kustoff. “As a former United States Attorney, I have worked alongside these leaders in our communities to fight crime, keep drugs off the streets, and put corrupt politicians in prison. I’m honored to have their support.”

“David is a pro-life, pro-gun, former prosecutor who has what it takes to get Washington back on track,” said District Attorney General Mike Dunavant. “David is a tough, no-nonsense conservative and his West Tennessee values will serve us well.”

“I’ve known David for many years and I am grateful for his friendship,” said Sheriff Bill Oldham. “As our former United States Attorney, David has fought for us in West Tennessee and is well-respected in our community. He is exactly the leader we need in Washington to keep our communities safe and secure.”

David Kustoff’s roots run deep in West Tennessee. He was born and raised in Shelby County and is a graduate of the University of Memphis. Appointed U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee by President Bush in 2006, Kustoff set his sights on cleaning up government and public corruption and fighting violent crime and drugs. He oversaw the majority of the Tennessee Waltz trials that sent Senator John Ford and 12 other defendants to federal prison.

David and his wife of 14 years, Roberta, have two children Maggie and Jake.
