Kustoff Statement on Trump Victory

GERMANTOWN, TN – The Congressman-elect for Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District, David Kustoff, released the following statement regarding the victory of President-elect Donald J. Trump:

“I want to congratulate President-elect Trump on an amazing victory last night. It is my hope we can work together towards shaping a country that is once again strong – both at home and abroad,” Kustoff said.

“With a Republican White House, Senate, and House, we can now focus on repealing Obamacare, Dodd-Frank, and many other burdensome regulations that have stifled West Tennessee’s recovery from the 2008 recession. We can also make sure our Second Amendment rights are protected and that we stand for life. Finally, President-elect Trump and the Senate can now work to assure strong constitutional jurists are appointed to the Supreme Court.”
